Shifting is handled by a B&M unit, with the cover modified to house switches for the power windows. Precision Street Rods also built a complete rollcage for the car out of pre-bent tubing made by Art Morrison. Zuniga was given the job of wrapping the entire rollbar with leather and hand stitching it.

Many years have passed since Lawson got a close look at Mazmanian's awesome Willys, but memories never go away. Lawson's Willys may be more modern than the historic gasser, and certainly more comfortable, but it shares the AA/Gas heritage with the look and the color and the mighty blown Hemi under the hood.
